This summer you're invited to Colchester for the Essex Summer Scrum!
A 2-day festival of inclusive rugby hosted by Colchester Kings RFC. Expect skills workshops, 7s mashup games, big fun, and lots of new friends!

WORKSHOPS AND SKILLS
The 2 days will feature a variety of ‘choose your own’ skills workshops as well as off pitch whiteboard sessions to enhance your learning
MARKETPLACE AND PARTY NIGHT!
At the clubhouse we’ll have a Marketplace during the day with local organisations, food trucks and more, followed by a BIG party in the evening!
7s MASH UP GAMES
Put everything you’ve learned in to practice with randomly selected teams and get out on the pitch in teams of 10 for a 7s Mash Up!
Wanna SCRUM?
The festival will be packed with great opportunities to learn or refine your skills, get to grips with new ideas and party with friends new and old.
During the festival, you will get to choose which skills sessions you get involved with. Each session is designed specifically for a skill type, or where you play on the pitch. We will also be delivering whiteboard sessions at the pitchside on a variety of topics including injury prevention, health & nutrition and more!
WHERE TO SCRUM?
We're setting up camp at none other than the Colchester Rugby Club!
The state of the art club features a huge clubhouse, 9 pitches, and we’ll be setting up an outdoor bar alongside our Marketplace to keep you hydrated!
It’s just off the A12, and transport is easy with Colchester Station nearby and Stansted Airport just a £2 bus ride away!
The new Northern Gateway development has a shiny new Travelodge just a stone’s throw away and plus even more great options in the city centre.️

We’re using Stack Team app for everything from registration to big news, from updates to workshop selections!
You’ll need to create an account within the app. Once you’ve done that find the ‘Essex Summer Scrum’ team and join!
All that’s left to do is fill in your registration form and make your payment!
There are 2 prices for Essex Summer Scrum, keeping in mind to make everything price accessible for everyone.

Supporters £25
Each ticket covers the cost of putting on the event, access to amazing coaches and facilities, plus your Saturday night party ticket. A small packed lunch will be provided each day, don’t forget to let us know your dietary requirements when you register!
There will be something for everyone, so no matter if you have played loads or you’re coming for your first time, there will be something for you!
